These terms
Semi-Private Flights is operated by Charter Jet One, an air charter broker. Using this site, or sending a quote request, means you accept these terms.
We arrange; operators fly
Semi-Private Flights is an air charter broker and is not a direct air carrier. We do not own or operate aircraft; every flight is operated by an FAA Part 135 (or foreign equivalent) direct air carrier in operational control of the aircraft. Your quote and charter agreement name the operating carrier before you commit.
About semi-private information
Our descriptions of semi-private services are general. We do not sell seats on them, and we make no promises about their routes, prices, baggage or pet rules, which their own sellers set and may change.
Estimates only
Prices, flight times and aircraft figures on this site are estimates to help you compare. They change with the date and the aircraft, and none of them is an offer.
Quotes and bookings
- A quote binds no one. A charter is booked only when you sign a charter agreement, which names the operating carrier and the aircraft.
- The operator confirms availability. Until your agreement is signed and paid as it requires, a quoted aircraft can go to someone else.
- Safety, weather, crew rest and airport limits come first and are decided by the operator; the pilot in command has final authority.
Taxes and fees
Charter quotes are all-in for the trip as described, with applicable taxes and fees included, such as the US federal excise tax and segment fees on domestic flights and any international charges. Items that depend on the day, like de-icing, extra waiting or a route change you ask for, are explained first and billed under the agreement.
Changes and cancellations
Whatever your charter agreement says about changes, cancellations, fees and deadlines applies. A discounted empty leg can move or be cancelled if the trip it depends on changes, and the agreement covers that case.
Your side
Give us accurate trip and passenger details, carry the documents your trip needs, and follow the operator’s rules on bags, pets, restricted items and behavior on board.
Liability limits
Where the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses tied to this site, or for what operators, airports and other third parties do or fail to do. Our total liability for any booking is capped at what you paid us for it. Liability that cannot legally be limited is not limited.
Using the site
Use the site to plan and request private flights for yourself, your family or your company. Do not misuse or disrupt it, and do not make requests for other people without their permission. Our text, design and images may not be copied for commercial use.
Law
The laws of the United States and the State of New York govern these terms, with disputes heard by the courts that have jurisdiction there, except where your local law gives you rights you cannot waive.
Updates
New versions of these terms appear here with a new date, and the version current when you sign a charter agreement applies to that booking.
